We are excited to welcome you to the SCOME Sessions of the IFMSA August Meeting 2026 in Astana, Kazakhstan!

This August, we will come together in the heart of Central Asia, in a city that reflects innovation, ambition, and rapid development.

The SCOME Sessions are more than a series of workshops, they are a platform for collaboration, critical thinking, and collective action. Throughout the meeting, we will create opportunities to discuss current challenges in medical education, share successful initiatives from different contexts, and empower one another to become advocates for positive change within our institutions and communities.

Together with our dedicated Sessions Team, we have crafted a dynamic and engaging program designed to inspire meaningful conversations and practical learning. Through interactive activities and collaborative discussions, we hope to provide an enriching experience for every participant.
