Welcome to the Presidents’ Sessions of our 75th General Assembly!

Your participation in these sessions reflects the trust placed in you by your members and the responsibility you carry as a leader within IFMSA. The role of an NMO President and representative extends far beyond representation; it requires judgment, consistency, and the ability to lead with integrity in complex and evolving contexts.

The Presidents’ Sessions are designed as a dedicated space for dialogue, reflection, and shared learning among leaders who operate within diverse national realities. Here, differences in context are not obstacles, but sources of insight. Through structured discussions and collective exchange, these sessions aim to support you in navigating both the strategic and human dimensions of your role.

As a representative of you NMO in our sessions, your decisions have a direct impact on the experience, opportunities, and sense of belonging of your members. Many of the students you represent face challenges that are not always visible at the international level. Your engagement in these sessions contributes to ensuring that IFMSA remains responsive, inclusive, and grounded in the realities of its membership.

We encourage you to approach these sessions with openness and responsibility — to ask critical questions, to listen actively, and to contribute constructively. Leadership within IFMSA is not exercised in isolation; it is strengthened through collaboration, accountability, and mutual support.
